Reusable gloves for basic requirements

They should only be used for processes that take place in an environment of cleanroom class ISO 7 until 9 and grey zones. In microbiological controlled areas, disposable gloves must still be used in accordance with the new Personal Protective Equipement Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

Requirements for textile gloves depend on the process. They should preferably have the following properties:

  • low particle emission
  • low fibre abrasion
  • cleanroom compatible packaging (PE-bags)
  • ESD-compatible, if required
  • have previously been cleaned in a suitable manner
  • etc.

You can find further basic requirements in the respective technical data.
