      Een 1:1 toewijzing van cleanroomhandschoenen aan een luchtzuiverheidsklasse volgens ISO 14644-1 is niet mogelijk. Er kunnen alleen aanbevelingen worden gedaan op basis van speciale eigenschappen die uit het oogpunt van cleanroomtechnologie relevant zijn, zoals "slijtvastheid" of "deeltjesemissie". Gebruikers kunnen hierover meer informatie vinden in VDI-Richtlijn 2083 blad 9.2.
