Disposable hoods

Disposable hoods often consist of a head section and a neck or shoulder cover. They can be made from various materials, including nonwoven polypropylene, SMS, laminated film materials or Tyvek®.

Full-protection hoods made from simple spunbond polypropylene offer more protection than standard bouffant caps and can also serve as a beard cover. However, they are not intended for the most demanding applications. They can also be worn as a supplement to a reusable full-protection hood.

The special cut allows freedom of movement and provides a good field of vision. Some of these products are both processed under cleanroom conditions and supplied sterile using a validated sterilisation process.
