DASTAT-V.2

Cleanroom garment fabric

DASTAT-V.2 is one of the cleanroom fabrics with the best filtration properties.

The plain weave used here is largely responsible for the textile being very insensitive to sharp edges. Despite its high filtration efficiency, DASTAT-V.2 can still be classified as breathable. Due to the plain weave, the overall feel is not quite as pleasant as with a twill weave. As with many textiles from Dastex, the conductivity values can be described as good. The abrasion resistance and roughening disposition values are adequate.

The DASTAT-V.2 fabric can also be sterilised without any problems.

Due to different test methods depending on the respective manufacturers and test institutes, the majority of the stated values cannot be compared one-to-one with those of other cleanroom fabrics.

(1) Values determined by the Institute for Textile and Process Engineering Denkendorf
In May 2017 the ITV Denkendorf merged into the public trust DITF Denkendorf.

Test results after 50 decontamination cycles.

Synthetic fabrics can shrink up to 3% during the decontamination process.
If such a textile is additionally autoclaved, the shrinkage has an even stronger optical effect due to the associated formation of wrinkles.
