HT4

Cleanroom undergarment fabric

A special feature of our functional textiles is the HT4 knitted fabric. The textile is made of Thermo°Cool Fresh™ (47.5%), Thermo°Cool™ (47.5%), polyester (3.5%) and 1.5% carbon/polyester. Similar to HT3, HT4 offers both slightly cooling effects when needed, but also heat insulating effects in the opposite direction, if necessary depending on the ambient conditions.

Also silver ions are partly firmly (non-migrating) incorporated into the synthetic fibres of HT4. Thus, like HT2 and HT3, HT4 has an antimicrobial effect, i.e. germ growth on/in the textile is hindered and possible odour nuisance is reduced.

The above functional properties are complemented by antistatic characteristics, which on the one hand reduce the tendency of the textile to become charged and on the other hand enable dissipation.

Product recommendation based on cleanroom classes

Cleanroom suitable undergarments made of HT4 can basically be worn in any cleanroom class area. Recommended especially in ESD-zones with high requirements.

Various studies have shown that the use of a suitable cleanroom-suitable intermediate garment can reduce both the microbiological load and the number of possible particulate contaminants by 50% and more.

(1) Manufacturer information

The above information is the result of tests carried out by the supplier to the best of his knowledge.

They are not specifications but typical values at the time of publication.

All information is without guarantee and changes are also possible without prior notice.

Due to different testing methods depending on the respective manufacturers and testing institutes, most of the indicated values cannot be compared one-to-one with those of other cleanroom fabrics.

Synthetic knitted fabrics can shrink by up to 5% during the decontamination process.
