This Christmas we are supporting the Prinses Máxima Centre, among others

Every year, about 600 children are diagnosed with cancer. One in four of these children unfortunately dies. When a child is seriously ill with cancer, there is only one thing on their mind: cure.

Cure

That's why at the Prinses Máxima Centre for Paediatric Oncology, they work together every day in groundbreaking and passionate ways to improve the survival rate and quality of life of children with cancer. Now and in the longer term. Because children have a whole life ahead of them. The Prinses Máxima Centre is not an ordinary paediatric oncology hospital, but a research hospital. All children with cancer in the Netherlands are treated here. This makes the Prinses Máxima Centre the largest children's cancer centre in Europe. More than 450 researchers and 900 medical professionals work closely with Dutch and international hospitals to find better treatments and new perspectives for a cure.  In this way, they can give children the best possible treatment today and take important steps to improve their chances of survival if they are not yet cured.
