Cleanroom garments made from recycled material

Our first sustainable and cleanroom-suitable textile DASTAT-REC is made from 100% recycled PET bottles. Extensive studies and tests at independent, internationally recognised textile research institutes prove that the DASTAT-REC fabric also meets the requirements of critical processes in cleanrooms. During the studies – as with all textiles provided by Dastex – particular emphasis was placed on the inclusion of ageing-related effects.

Main features of cleanroom garments made of DASTAT-REC

  • very good wearing comfort properties combined with high filtration efficiency
  • very good antistatic properties and compliance with typical ESD requirements
  • good resistance to abrasion and resistance to wear values, even though the fibres are made from recycled material

The raw material is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and the fabric has been awarded the label Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® for textiles tested for harmful substances.

Resource conservation and sustainability are important criteria in the further orientation of our cleanroom garment & cleanroom consumables delivery programme.
